Varun Industries Limited has announced its first quarter results. It recorded growth in net profit to INR 11.61 crore as against INR 6.95 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2009 and revenue to INR 404.59 crore as against INR 388.12 in the same quarter of the previous year.

Also, the board of directors recommended a dividend of 15% for the year ended March 2010.
