Varun Industries announced a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.68 times to INR 123.94 million from INR 46.30 million in the same quarter last year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 2.93 times to INR 8,858.21 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 3.03 times to INR 8,872.44 million, when compared with the prior year period.
