
Taiwan's Walsin and Yieh Hsing have announced the new price policy for February 2011 delivery.
The two companies have increase the prices of 304 series stainless steel wire rod by TWD 4,000 per tonne averagely; at the same time, that for 316 series has hiked by TWD 1,000 to TWD 2,000 per tonne.
According to the saying of the two mills, they decided to increase the prices to reflect the raw material costs caused by rising nickel prices.
Meanwhile, dealers indicated that the price hike was under the market's expectation.
