According to statistics, the stocks of stainless steel totaled 186,867 tonnes in the Chinese Wuxi market in the first ten days of August 2012, falling by 1.4% from the previous ten days.

Among them, 112,429 tonnes were cold rolled stainless steel, reducing by 1.95% and 74,438 tonnes were hot rolled stainless steel, down by 0.57%, both compared to that in ten days ago.

To specify steel grade, the inventories of 300 grades totaled 129,855 tonnes, decreasing by 1.15%; that of 400 grades was at 35,322 tonnes, falling by 2.33% and that of 200 grades was at 21,690 tonnes, reducing by 1.39%, all compared to that in ten days ago.
