
It is reported that Taiwanese Yieh United Steel Corporation has released the November 2011 price policy for domestic and export market on October 28th 2011.
As per report, the company decided the cut the domestic prices of 300 series hot rolled and cold rolled stainless steel products by TWD 3,500 per tonne and to decline the export prices of 300 series materials by USD 30 to USD 100 per tonne for November 2011 deliveries.
Meanwhile, YUSCO remained the domestic and export prices of 400 series stainless steel products unchanged for November 2011 shipments. YUSCO indicated that it decided to cut the prices due to the lower nickel prices in October 2011.
It is known that the average nickel prices at LME were at USD 18,826 per tonne in October ended on October 27th 2011, decreased substantially by around USD 1,500 per tonne from USD 20,392 per tonne in September 2011.
In addition, the firm said that its Q4 capacity utilization rate will remain above 90%.
