It is reported that Yieh United Steel Corporation will spend TWD 3.58 billion to install a new stainless continuous pickling, annealing, and cold rolling production line in its China's production base.

The new production line is designed to output 700,000 tonnes, accordingly, its total cold rolled capacity is expected to increase to 2.1 million tonnes from the current 1.4 million tonnes. The new production is expected to complete in 2013.

YUSCO predicted that China's consumption in stainless steel cold rolled product will grow by 10% each year during China's 12th Five Year Plan period.

Meanwhile, Lisco, China’s production base of Yusco, can output 2.5 million tonnes to 3 million tonnes of hot rolled products and 700,000 tonnes of CR products annually.
