It is reported that Yieh United Steel Corporation has announced to raise its February 2011 prices by TWD 3,000 to TWD 6,000 per tonne due to rising nickel prices.
Accordingly, market analysts believe that it will help Taiwan's stainless steel coil centers, such as Yeun Chyang, Forch Enterprise have brilliant sales revenue in the first quarter of 2011.
Moreover, industry sources indicated that Taiwan's downstream stainless steel mills, such as Sinkang Industries, Yeou YihSteel, Yeun Chyang, Forch Enterprise and Ta Chen would follow Yusco to raise their prices.
Hence, Taiwan's domestic and export stainless steel markets have been seen positive after Chinese New Year vacation.
