The EBII Dam, Axis 1, Dike S3, Dike S4, Nova Santarém and New Macacos Dike, Germano Dam and Germano Pit (both inactive) were audited by an independent company, which analyzed a series of data and carried out inspections of these structures. The document is issued every 6 months, after due technical evaluation. All of Samarco's geotechnical structures are monitored daily around the clock. The company invests in new technologies, with the purpose of making mining different, safer and more sustainable.
