16 fast charging points with solar roof in Könnern (Saxony-Anhalt) on the A14 // Nationwide EnBW fast charging network is growing rapidly. Between the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt Magdeburg and Leipzig in Saxony, motorists can now quickly charge halfway through. The energy company EnBW has put a new fast-charging park for electric cars into operation directly at the motorway exit in Könnern. The leading charging infrastructure operator is thus consolidating its already largest fast-charging network in Germany with another location in the east of Germany.Charging points with the highest performance class, operated with 100 percent green electricityResidents and long-distance travellers alike benefit from the location of the site, in the immediate vicinity of the A14: The site is equipped with 16 so-called HPC charging points (High Power Charging)With over 800 locations, the Baden-Württemberg energy company operates the largest fast-charging network in Germany. EnBW has already set up more than 1,000 fast-charging locations. All locations that are not yet in operation will be available to motorists as soon as the local grid operator has connected these sites to the power grid. Already this year, EnBW has put three further major sites on highly frequented long-distance routes into operation: in Rüdersdorf on the A4, near Rostock-Kavelstorf near the A19 / A20 motorway junction, in Hildesheim on the A7 and on the A31 in Lembeck (Dorsten).
