Bechtel, a renowned leader in engineering and construction, announced the successful completion of its monumental endeavor, the Elizabeth Line, marking a momentous milestone in London's transportation landscape. With the final timetable now in place, the Elizabeth line offers up to 24 trains per hour during peak times, serving all 41 stations across its impressive 73-mile stretch.This remarkable achievement culminates the three-phase opening of the Elizabeth Line, a project that has significantly enhanced connectivity to Heathrow Airport, transformed travel across the capital, and connected stations in the East and West. Commencing service a year ago, the line initially operated with 12 trains per hour, encompassing stops at nine newly established stations in central London.Building upon this early success, Bechtel diligently continued its efforts, and in November 2022, all branches of the Elizabeth Line were seamlessly connected. The frequency of trains increased to 22 per hour, providing enhanced accessibility and convenience.
