The collection encompasses the exceptional AYA standing and conference tables, along with the exquisite AYA high stool, all ingeniously crafted to enable flexible touchdown working within the office environment. Each piece is meticulously constructed from solid, sustainably sourced FSC British grown ash, embracing the inherent variations in character to minimize waste. Furthermore, these remarkable creations are thoughtfully designed for effortless disassembly, facilitating repair and refurbishment, thereby ensuring their endurance for countless lifetimes.
The versatile AYA table is available in both standing and lower conference heights, catering to diverse working requirements. With softly splined edges, this resilient table draws inspiration from the concept of a library, blending it seamlessly with the notion of touchdown working. Notably, a linear light rail can be effortlessly integrated into the table's center, imbuing a sense of privacy for individuals seated on either side.
AYA also offers a range of power options, allowing customization based on project-specific needs. The power supply is ingeniously concealed within the table's leg, while flush panels on the tabletop artfully conceal plug sockets, providing convenient charging facilities for laptops and phones.
In addition to the exquisite tables, Foster + Partners and Benchmark have collaborated to design a captivating high stool, harmoniously aligned with the standing table. Sharing the table's gentle geometric curves, the stool is enhanced with foot rails, further elevating the comfort of its occupants. The visionary team also envisions expanding the range to include lower stools and benches, catering specifically to the conference table setting.
Highlighting their unwavering commitment to sustainability and user well-being, the AYA collection proudly boasts Red List Free Declare Labelling, ensuring the absence of toxic chemicals and compliance with the air quality standards prescribed for WELL certified buildings. Additionally, Benchmark is launching the range with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), underscoring their dedication to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of these exceptional creations.
