Peab has been commissioned to build a new swimming pool facility in Saltsjöbaden in south of Stockholm. The customer is Nacka Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 265 million. The project entails building a new swimming pool facility, Näckenbadet, doing the associated groundwork and tearing down the existing swimming pool facility. It will be built on two floors and contain a 25 meter pool with six swimming lanes, a training pool with a height adjustable bottom and personnel space.The project is a traditional contract with some turnkey contract parts. The building will correspond to the level of Miljöbyggnad Silver. Construction will start in February 2023 and occupation is planned for 2025.
