Peab has been commissioned to build a new swimming pool facility in Malung. The customer is Malung-Sälen Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 216 million. Peab will build the new 5,400 square meters swimming pool facility in central Malung. It will contain a 25 meter pool with eight swimming lanes, a multi-pool with a height adjustable bottom, a children’s section as well as a relaxation area with a hot pool, ice swimming hole and a sauna for rent. The entrance to the swimming pool facility will have a cafeteria that also serves people in the swimming area.The project is a turnkey contract in partnering. Construction will start in August 2022 and the facility is expected to be completed in June 2024.
