Australian mining company Mineral Resources wholly-owned subsidiary Process Minerals International has published a proposal to develop an open pit iron ore mine, called the Lamb Creek project 130 kilometers northwest of Newman in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia. Process Minerals International is constructing a multi-stage crushing and screening processing plant and related mine base infrastructure, including offices, water pipes, storage and equipment areas, power generation equipment, and accommodation areas.The proposed deposit has a life of around 3 to 5 years and is expected to produce up to 10 million tonnes of crushed and screened iron ore per year.
