<p>Approval was given by the Chamber of Mining Activities of the State Council of Environmental Policy to add 35 ha to the scope of Samarco´s Corrective Operation License - LOC. This decision allows the company to continue with the expansion of mining in the Alegria Norte and Sul mines, at the Germano Complex in Mariana (MG). </p><p>The license obtained is fundamental for the continuity of Samarco's mining operations. The work to expand mining in the authorized areas is in compliance with the standards established by environmental agencies.</p>
