Following Leshan factory, world's largest solar panel manufacturer Chinese Jinkosolar’s Chuxiong plant has become the company’s second 100% renewable electricity-powered factory. Production of the electricity powering Chuxiong cell factory comes from a range of sources, including local hydro plants, offsite solar plants as well as planned on-site solar PV arrays installed on the facility’s vast roofs.Jinkosolar under its commitment to the Climate Group’s RE100, a global initiative bringing together hundreds of large and ambitious businesses, is committed to the use of 100% renewable energy and the acceleration of efforts on sustainable development and carbon neutrality.
