Algeria’s state owned oil company Sonatrach has commissioned of the supervision center of the pipeline network of the Transport Activity by Sonatrach pipeline, located at Sidi Arcine. The realization of this infrastructure, launched within the framework of the modernization of the operating tools of Sonatrach, makes it possible to benefit from a follow-up and a centralized, global, detailed and instantaneous view of the operating operations on the whole of the pipeline transport network.Sonatrach Pipeline Transport Activity is in charge of the management of a very important heritage which consists ofA pipeline transport network with a length of more than 21,000 km and a transport capacity of 405 million TOE/year, articulated around 43 pipelines including 23 gas pipelinesA National Gas Dispatching Center in Hassi R'MelA Liquid Hydrocarbons Dispatch Center in Haoud El Hamra85 Pumping and compressor stations128 hydrocarbon storage tanks (crude oil and condensate) with a capacity of 4,300 million TOEMarine Terminals, consisting of 12 dockside loading stations and 5 offshore crude oil loading buoysTwo transcontinental gas terminals
