SONATRACH and the German gas company VNG have signed, on the sidelines of the4th edition of the Algerian-German Energy Day, a memorandum of understanding to examine cooperation opportunities for the realization of projects in the field of hydrogen and green ammonia with the aim of exporting them to Germany.As a first step, feasibility studies will be carried out on the hydrogen value chain, from production and transport to marketing, with the aim of assessing the potential of commercial projects to be jointly developed in this field.
