EDAROTH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atkins Ltd, has won a place on PAGABO’s new GBP 47 billion developer led framework. Under the agreement, EDAROTH will have the opportunity to bid for developments of residential schemes across the UK – including projects which transform publicly-owned brownfield and underutilised land in existing communities – to create truly affordable homes in areas where they are most needed.
EDAROTH will offer development management, design and engineering expertise, the latest off-site manufacturing techniques and construction services to deliver new net-zero carbon homes at speed, volume and at a significantly reduced whole life cost compared to traditional new builds.
Once developments are completed, the public sector retains land ownership giving them essential facilities and a long-term revenue stream to bolster their finances.
EDAROTH unveiled its first completed residential development in February 2020 which saw much needed social housing delivered in London, UK; and was also successful in securing a place on a £1bn housing framework to provide services in other parts of the UK.
