Hill International to move Tula River Tribe’s Casino
Hill International has been awarded a contract by the Tule River Tribe Gaming Authority in Porterville, California to provide owner’s representative services for Phase 1 of the relocation of the authority’s Eagle Mountain Casino. Valued at USD 200 million, the project will move casino operations to a new-built complex some 17 miles from its current location on the Tule River Indian Reservation to the City of Porterville. The long-planned move will free up the reservation’s limited water supply for critical housing for tribal members
The first phase of the work includes building a new 2,000-seat event center, restaurants and bars and gaming spaces for 1,750 slot machines and 20 table games.
A hotel will be built in the second phase.
Hill’s services will encompass construction management, scheduling, estimating and cost management, quality control, planning and coordination with third-party providers, and contract administration, among others.
