According to the Moscow Department of Transport, completion of the Pechatniki station of the Big Circle Line will be finished in 2022 & commissioning works are expected to be completed in the beginning of 2023. In accordance with the design project, the new Pechatniki station will have two lobbies, one will provide a connection to the Moscow Metro Line 10. The station will have a black and white color scheme. The architecture of the station is based on the image of the capital letter P, П in Russian.After Pechatniki station of the Big Circle Line is launched, 85 thousand residents of the surrounding areas will have new fast routes. The Pechatniki station Line 10 will become 27% more free. As part of the territory improvement, an underground crosswalk will be built, modern bus stops and additional traffic lights will be installed. As a result, the neighboring streets will be unloaded by 10%, there will be less traffic.In addition, Pechatniki will have the newest payment equipment. The new turnstiles will allow fare payment with a bank card two times faster. The Face Pay will also be available, as at the rest of the Moscow Metro stations.Twenty-two Big Circle stations are already opened, 10 of them were launched in December last year. The daily passenger traffic exceeds 500 thousand people, although the circle line is not completed yet. The Big Circle Line is the largest project implemented with the direct involvement of the Moscow Mayor. With 31 stations, the Big Circle will be the longest metro circle line in the world. Its length is 70 kilometers, which is 3.5 times longer than the existing Line 5 and a quarter longer than the line 10, so far the global leader in terms of length.
