US architect Perkins & Will has designed an office for American investment company BlackRock in Atlanta in Georgia. iHub development will capture Atlanta’s spirit by referencing three distinctive Georgian themes: the porch, the festival and the crossroads. Each of its four floors will contain private spaces known as “porches” and public spaces known as “crossroads”. This are intended to encourage spontaneous collaboration among the office’s 1,000 employees. Meanwhile, flexible spatial planning is said to create the feeling of a festival.BlackRock’s art curator, Susan Frei Nathan, worked with local organisations and artists on the interior design of the building.
