Webuild Group’s US subsidiary Lane has achieved a major milestone six months ahead of schedule with the opening of three new ramps, including two flyovers, at the SR 417 Interchange of the Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County, improving mobility and safety. The project is a major toll road within the US state’s Turnpike System used by more than three million travellers every day. It is operated by Turnpike Enterprise under the Florida Department of Transportation. Valued at USD 177 million, it will reduce congestion by widening the Turnpike’s Mainline from Osceola Parkway to Beachline Expressway from four to eight lanes.

As part of the Florida Highway System, the Turnpike provides access to major routes from Miami to Central Florida, essential for access to tourist attractions that contribute to the local economy. The project is expected to be completed this summer.
