Alcoa CEO Mr Roy Harvey announced that Alcoa will cease buying raw materials from, or selling products to, Russian businesses. He said “While Alcoa does not have operations in the Ukraine or Russia, we have a multi-disciplined team that has been carefully monitoring developments. After close consideration, we’ve decided now is the time to act. In response to the current aggression, Alcoa will cease buying raw materials from, or selling our products to, Russian businesses.” He added “The Alcoa Foundation is working to support relief efforts in Europe. Many of our employees have also reached out to ask how you can make a difference. That’s our Care for People value in action.”
