Bulgarian aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet intends to invest in a rooftop solar photovoltaic installation with a total capacity of 2 MW. The PV installation will be mounted on existing buildings which are part of the company's production facilities, Alcomet said in a bourse filing on Friday.Based in Shumen, northeastern Bulgaria, Alcomet produces household, technical and container foils, sheets and strips, as well as standard and customised profiles.
