Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has announced that RONAL GROUP has been successfully certified against the ASI Performance Standard with Material Stewardship focus at its production site, RONAL POLSKA in Wałbrzych in Poland and at RONAL Headquarters in Härkingen in Switzerland. The facility in Poland has a maximum annual production of 2 million light alloy wheels. RONAL GROUP has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification with a focus on Material Stewardship for the design, manufacturing, and distribution of light alloy wheels. The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. ASI Performance Standard certifications focusing on ‘material stewardship’ address issues such as product design, life cycle assessments, management of process scrap and collection and recycling of products at end-of-life. The independent, third-party audit of the RONAL GROUP operations was carried out by TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH.
