Aluminium Stewardship Initiative announced that Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum & Electricity Co has joined as a Production and Transformation member. Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum & Electricity Co, established in December 2018, is located in Yuanjiaba Industrial Park in Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company covers an area of 343 mu, with total assets of 2.3 billion yuan, more than 400 employees, with an annual output of 250,000 tons of high-quality raw aluminum, can achieve annual industrial output value of 3.6 billion yuan, profits and taxes of about 150 million yuan.The company makes full use of the rich hydropower resources in Sichuan province and adopts full hydropower production, which can reduce thermal power generation by 3.4 billion KWH, save 420,000 t of standard coal and reduce carbon emissions by 920,000 t annually. The main equipment adopts 400KA class energy saving and environmental protection pre-baked electrolytic cell, equipped with first-class purification and desulfurization technology, which is the first purification and desulfurization to achieve ultra-low emission in Sichuan and Chongqing region.
