Spun out of MIT research in 2020, Hydrova’s patent-pending separations technology recovers valuable aluminum, salt, and oxide products from dross and salt cake while generating hydrogen for clean energy use on-site. In addition to winning grants from MIT and the EPA, Hydrova has raised funding from notable investors including 1517 Fund, Climate Capital, and the 776 Foundation.
