Greek MYTILINEOS announced the signing of the agreement with PPC for the supply of electricity to the industrial unit Aluminum of Greece of the Metallurgy Business Unit. This will be the last contract for the two companies, after 60 years of uninterrupted cooperation, as MYTILINEOS is committed - in the framework of its strategy for sustainable development to reduce emissions by 30% in all its activities by 2030 and to achieve climate-neutrality by 2050. Especially for the Metallurgy Business Unit, MYTILINEOS aspires to set a green example, through its commitment to reduce absolute CO2 emissions by 65% and relative CO2 emissions (per ton aluminium produced), by 75%.
