Air Algérie, the national airline of Algeria, has taken a significant step towards its commercial growth by finalizing a firm order for seven widebody aircraft from Airbus. This strategic investment will allow Air Algérie to leverage the flexibility of the Airbus product range, strengthen its regional services, and offer an ambitious plan for transcontinental destinations. The selection of both A330neo and A350-1000 aircraft will deliver operational savings, including a remarkable 25 percent lower fuel burn per seat, while benefiting from the unique commonality among Airbus aircraft.

The A330neo and A350-1000 aircraft from Airbus boast the award-winning Airspace cabin, offering passengers an elevated level of comfort, ambience, and design. Passengers can expect more individual space, larger overhead bins, a state-of-the-art lighting system, and access to the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

The A330neo Family, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, represents the latest generation of Airbus widebody aircraft. With a non-stop range of 7,200 nautical miles or 13,334 kilometers, the A330-900 has garnered 1,775 firm orders from 130 customers worldwide, establishing its dominance in the short- and medium-haul market.

On the other hand, the A350 Family stands as the world's most modern and market-leading long-haul aircraft family, equipped with Rolls-Royce's groundbreaking Trent XWB engines. Capable of flying non-stop for 8,700 nautical miles or 16,100 kilometers, the A350-1000 has received 967 firm orders from 54 customers worldwide, making it one of the most successful widebody aircraft in history.

The strategic partnership between Air Algérie and Airbus demonstrates the airline's commitment to providing exceptional service, fuel efficiency, and passenger satisfaction. By combining the operational benefits of the A330neo and A350-1000, Air Algérie aims to unlock new opportunities for growth and expansion in the global aviation market.
