The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, which manages the European Commission's programmes for decarbonization and sustainable growth, has selected a project by Be Charge, a subsidiary of Plenitude Eni, to build one of the largest high-speed charging networks in Europe. One of the Company’s main goals is to build one of the largest high-power infrastructure projects along key European transport corridors TEN-T, parking areas and major urban centres by 2025, across eight countries: Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia and Greece.The project has been selected under the Connecting Europe Facility, a European Union funding programme and specifically under the Alternative fuels infrastructure facility in support of European transport infrastructure, which covers electric vehicle charging and hydrogen, among other solutions.The European Commission awarded a non-repayable grant to 24 European projects. This award will contribute to build an environmentally sustainable transport network.
