On December 30, 2021, ahead of schedule, Egyptian Nuclear Power Plant Authority handed over the package of documents to the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority which are required for receipt of license for construction of El Dabaa NPP power units 3 and 4 (general designer and general contractor is ROSATOM Engineering Division).This is one of the key stages of implementation of El Dabaa NPP project, its aim is the issue of license for the construction of power units 3 and 4. As soon as the permission is issued, the parties will be able to commence full-scale construction.Earlier, on June 30, 2021, similar documentation was handed over for units 1 and 2.
