Vattenfall has signed agreements with Westinghouse and Framatome for the long-term supply of nuclear fuel to the nuclear reactors at Forsmark and Ringhals in Sweden. The agreements with Westinghouse Electric Sweden and Framatome will secure fuel supply to the five nuclear reactors at Forsmark and Ringhals from 2024 and onwards.Trade in nuclear fuel follows regulations and guidelines from the Euratom Supply Agency and the International Atomic Energy Agency. Westinghouse and Framatome are also audited according to Vattenfall's code of conduct for suppliers.
