On 25 January 2023, the foundation stone for the new Liestal station area was laid. Implenia is constructing two buildings for SBB Immobilien at Liestal station. Both buildings will be built according to Minergie P and the standards of the SGNI/DGNB Silver label.The reception building will be constructed as a replacement new building in solid construction and includes the travel centre and retail space on the ground floor, three floors for office use as well as a basement with retail and ancillary areas and access to the Oristal pedestrian underpass. The office and retail space will be built in the basic fit-out, the travel center in full expansion.The new construction of the residential and commercial building will be carried out in solid construction with catering and retail uses on the ground floor, one upper floor with office space and five floors with apartments. In the basement, retail and ancillary areas as well as access to the personnel underpass are provided for sifters. The apartments will be fully developed, the office, retail and catering areas in the basic fit-out.With its four-track expansion project, Implenia is also active in civil engineering at Liestal station.
