French Nova Met has signed an agreement with a port agency, planning to build a new aluminum scrap recycling plant near Le Havre in France. The automated grinding and processing line at this plant will collect, purify, and cold refine 2,500 tonnes of aluminum every month. Nova Met is setting up its secondary aluminum production site in an industrial building in Rogerville, within the Port Industrial Zone of Le Havre, says HAROPA. Earlier this month, the company signed a temporary occupation agreement with for a 20,000-square-meter site.The target markets for the recycled aluminum produced at this plant are Asia and Europe, and it was aimed to ship 80 containers per month to South Asia by 2023.
