Saudi oil giant Aramco SA, amid stronger fundamentals in the hydrocarbon sector, has stepped up its cooperation with Saudi companies by placing several orders for steel tubes and pipes supply. Aramco has given out two new orders got supply of steel pipes for its oil pipelines to Arabian Pipes Co & Saudi Steel Pipe Company totaling SAR 118 million (USD 32 million)Aramco has placed an order worth SAR 60 million (USD 16 million) to Riyadh based Arabian Pipes Co to supply steel pipes. The contract will be valid for one year. Additionally Saudi Steel Pipe Company has signed a contract worth SAR 58 million with Aramco. Under the 12-month agreement, Saudi Steel Pipe will provide Aramco with oil and gas steel pipesSaudi Aramco has awarded two pipe supply contracts in May also.
