The world's first deep-sea wind-solar floating photovoltaic project successfully generated electricity in China on 31 October 2022. As one of the core parts of the project, the offshore photovoltaic step-up transformer has a compact structure, strong vibration resistance, high degree of intelligence, excellent and reliable overall performance, and the step-up transformer manufactured by BaoSteel’s high-end oriented silicon steel provided power guarantee for the successful operation of the project. Different from the existing offshore solar power projects in sheltered sea areas and offshore areas, this demonstration project is the world's first floating offshore photovoltaic project researched and constructed under the Double 30 marine environment with a distance of 30 kilometers from the shore, a water depth of 30 meters and an extreme wave height of 10 meters.
