World’s largest steel maker Chinese Baowu has signed an agreement with world-renowned ore supplier BHP to implement the content of Memorandum of Cooperation on Climate Change previously signed by the two parties, and collaborate with BHP Billiton to advance the signing of research cooperation agreement with three well-known Chinese universities including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Central South University and Northeastern UniversityThe collaboration is to promote cooperation in low-carbon metallurgical technology and other fields, promote low-carbon development and knowledge sharing in the iron and steel field, and jointly build an open scientific and technological innovation ecosystem.
