BelTA has reported that Belarusian steel mill BMZ has planned a number of investment projects with other enterprises for expanding BMZ’s capabilities. BMZ’s Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs Mr Aleksandr Borikov told BelTA “More than 2 million tonnes of steel was smelted in 2022, which also made it possible to establish relationships with new partners, open new markets and launch new products. The plant completed the year in the black and with positive profitability.”Mr Aleksandr Borikov told BelTA “This year the plant is mulling over investment projects with such enterprises as SITOMO, Polesieelektromash, Legmash Plant and Minsk Bearing Plant. The company is currently working on such an important area as the production of large-size tires and is buying new machinery.”
