Australian steelmaker BlueScope has reported 43% YoY shrinkage in net profit after tax in July-December 202 (H1 of FY2023). BlueScope Managing Director & CEO Mr Mark Vassella said “Underlying EBIT for the half year was robust at AUD 851 million in the context of softening macroeconomic conditions relative to those observed across FY2022.
