Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade SECEX announced that )it has decided to extend the anti-dumping duty on imports of flat alloy steel bars originating in China for another five years, at a duty rate of USD 437.09 per tonne on, starting from November 24, 2022.The AD investigation was originally initiated based on a request filed by local producer Gerdau.The products involved are flat-rolled alloy steel bars, hot-rolled, drawn or extruded, neither fast cutting nor steel silicon-manganese, with a thickness equal to or greater than 4.5 mm but not more than 60 mm, with a width equal to or greater than 50 mm but not exceeding 150 mm, classified under MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) 7228.30.00.
