Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade SECEX announced that Brazil has initiated the fourth sunset review of anti-dumping duties on imports of carbon steel seamless steel line pipes from China and Romania, based on an application filed by a local steel pipe maker Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes do Brasil on 21 April 2022. The period of investigation was from January 2021 to December 2021, and the injury assessment period was from January 2017 to December 2021.The products involved are carbon steel seamless line pipes, with diameters of up to 5 inches, mainly used in the construction of oil and gas pipelines for conveying and storing fluids, classified under HS codes 7304.19.00, 7304.31.90, 7304.39.10, and 7304.39.90.
