Neuss Germany based Cogne Edelstahl GmbH has taken over the North German stainless steel specialist Edelstahl und Metallhandel Bremen GmbH, EMB GmbH, in Stuhr-Brinkum in Bremen and is now also represented in North Germany with a sales and storage location. The location complements the sales offices in Düsseldorf, Neuss and Rudersberg and covers the north of Germany. This means that the delivery times for customers in northern Germany can be significantly improved once again, due to own fleet of vehicles. In addition to shorter delivery routes, customers will also benefit from a broader range of products and services locally, supplemented by the extensive range of factory delivery options that the Cogne Group is used to.Edelstahl GmbH CEO Mr Bernd Grotenburg said “Both companies have been active in the stainless steel sector for over 20 years and complement each other perfectly in terms of customer service. As is well known, we offer a very high quality of our products combined with an equally reliable delivery performance. We are absolutely convinced that with the combination of EMB and Cogne we can offer our customers in northern Germany decisive advantages in order to ensure their competitiveness in the future.”Both companies are characterized by experienced employees who have been associated with the company for many years and have a great deal of know-how in the stainless steel segment. The familiar contacts, both at EMB and at Cogne Edelstahl, will remain with the customers.
