Athens based Greek steel pipe supplier Corinth Pipeworks has been awarded contract from Gas Transmission Operator of Poland GAZ-SYSTEM SA Poland to supply steel pipes for the Gustorzyn - Wronow gas pipeline. The linepipe contract comprises of 80 km of 40 inch coated steel pipes. Its value amounts to about EUR 47 million. Pipes manufacturing and coating will take place at Corinth Pipeworks' facilities in Greece. Deliveries are planned to start in Poland at the beginning of April 2022 and conclude by August 2022.Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is a strategic company for Poland's economy and energy security. GAZ-SYSTEM's key task is the transport of gas via the transmission network throughout the country to supply with gas the distribution networks and final customers connected to the transmission system.
