Taiwan's leading steelmaker China Steel Corporation announced that its carbon steel sales volume totaled 707,552 tonnes in August 2022. In August, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 36.3 billion (USD 1.2 billion), down by 7.3% MoM while operating income totaled NTD 418.6 million as compared to a NTD 2.3 billion income recorded in JulyChina Steel Corporation announced that its carbon steel sales volume totaled 6.07 million tonnes in January-August 2022, operating revenues amounted to NTD 324.27 billion (USD 10.3 billion), up 9.2% YoY while operating income totaled NTD 28.9 billion as compared to a NTD 49.9 billion income recorded in the same period last year.
