Geman thick steel plates specialist Dillinger was awarded the Innovative through Research 2022/2023 seal for its activities and investments in research and development. Der Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, the largest private science sponsor in Germany, uses this award to recognize research-based companies for their innovative capacity and research expertise. It was awarded for the first time in 2014 and is valid for two years.The core task and at the same time the obligation of Dillinger's Research and Development department is to continuously expand property and dimensional limits and to develop and implement economic concepts for the production of high-quality heavy plate, taking into account current and future market requirements. The unit thus makes a significant contribution to Dillinger's claim to be an agile quality and technology leader in the heavy plate market.
