A spectacle of unparalleled creativity and engineering acumen comes to the fore as the United Metallurgical Company's Energomash division unveils its masterful orchestration in the form of metal structures that have breathed life into the Möbius Strip attraction. This captivating edifice, nestled within the verdant expanse of a landscape park at VDNH in Moscow, has been a resplendent addition since the inception of summer.Echoing the contours of the infinity symbol, the Möbius Strip assumes its place as an integral facet of the “Garden of the Five Senses” complex. This spatial marvel, spanning 66 meters by 27 meters with a towering elevation of approximately 10 meters, is testament to the audacious pursuit of non-conformity in design. The intricacies of this structure's geometry summoned the expertise of OMK Energomash's artisans, who deftly harnessed the prowess of 3D modeling. A symphony of geodetic surveying, facilitated through total stations, played a pivotal role. Leveraging the precise coordination from the 3D model, a harmonious convergence of bent rolled pipes was realized with impeccable precision. This meticulous calibration seamlessly factored in the exigencies of blank production, structural assembly, welding, and timely model refinements prior to production commencement. Following assembly, the frame was adorned with resplendent golden metal panels imbued with a captivating mirror effect.Mr. Igor Timofeev, Director of the Sales Department of Metal Structures at OMK Energomash, attests to the profundity of this achievement. “This year, our metal structures enterprise commemorates its golden jubilee. Participation in the multifaceted 'Moebius Strip' project stands as a paramount milestone in our trajectory. For this endeavor, we supplied a staggering 164 metric tons of metal structures. Such ventures of unconventional nature provide an opportune platform to harness our enterprise's acumen and capabilities, fostering professional evolution. We take immense pride in witnessing the architectural expanse that the Belgorod OMK plant's metal structures have bestowed upon yet another urban canvas.”
