Eurasian Economic Commission announced that the Eurasian Economic Union, which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan & Russia, has decided to postpone the start date of imposition of the anti-dumping measure on graphite electrodes originating in China to 1 October for a period of five years. Based on the order of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 17 March 2022, the Collegium of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided:1. Postpone the start date for the application of the anti-dumping measure established by the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated September 21, 2021 No 129 in respect of graphite electrodes originating from the People's Republic of China and imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, to October 1, 2022.2. This Decision shall enter into force upon the expiration of 10 calendar days from the date of its official publication and applies to legal relations that arose from April 1, 2022.The AD duty rate was set in a range from 14.04% to 28.20%, depending on the producers. The products involved are graphite electrodes with a circular cross-section diameter of no more than 520mm or other shapes with a cross-section area of not more than 2700 square centimeters, under HS code 8545110089.
