Gerdau GG 70 rebar, a CA-50 grade steel, has a minimum yield strength of 700MPa, 200 MPa more than the current GG 50 rebar and responds to the needs of customers, as it offers a high-quality performance, with important gains in productivity and sustainability. This new product is intended for various segments of construction, with emphasis on the infrastructure sector, industrial and commercial buildings.The new solution will provide a better rate of use of direct and indirect inputs, which means more productivity and sustainability in the work. The product, like other Gerdau rebars, is 100% weldable in all available gauges and is a solution that combines high performance and cost savings with less impact on the environment. Produced on demand at our unit in Divinópolis in MG, the new rebar reinforces Gerdau's product portfolio for civil construction, which is currently the most complete on the market.Gerdau Design, a new exclusive technical consulting service launched by Gerdau to evaluate the best constructive solution for the structure of clients’ work using industrialized onsite and offsite technologies, is already working with customers on the use of this new product.
