Jackson Sun reported that Gerdau has announced upgrades to its Jackson steel mill in Michigan in US. The investment will expand the location’s merchant bar product range and operational competitiveness, while improving the flexibility of Gerdau’s network of mills. The USD 67 million projects involve a variety of upgrades to Jackson’s rolling mill, roll shop, warehouse, and warehouse conveyer.
